Chrome 110 will be released by Google in February.

Soon, Google Chrome won't work on Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1. According to reports, the tech giant will release Chrome 110 on February 7, which will be available for Windows 10 and higher-powered devices.

Google stated, "To continue receiving future Chrome releases, you will need to ensure that your device is running Windows 10 or later."

The tech giant added, "We encourage you to move to a supported Windows version if you are currently on Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 to ensure you continue to receive the latest security updates and Chrome features."

According to reports, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will no longer receive security updates or technical support from Microsoft beginning on January 10, 2022. Additionally, WebView2 support will no longer receive updates.

Cross-device notifications are part of a new Google feature that will allow users to resume media playback on multiple devices.
